The place where I live, the place where I know I'm safe. The place where I am loved, where I can rest. I know, this is home. When I look at my house, I will see that we are happy. I can go to my mom’s room. She is playing on her phone. I can go to my sister’s room. They are playing with dolls. It looks fun. When I go to my room, I see my stuffies, toys, clay creations and my blue, nice fluffy bed. I’m at home. Hearing the nice sound of my air conditioner is calming. When Jinx comes downstairs, I hear the bell on my cat's collar bouncing around. It is nice. The sound of the videos or shows my mom watches always gets my attention. The sound of my dad coming home from work makes me happy. The taste of the pizza that my mom makes always makes me happy. Watching a movie and eating popcorn is a really fun way to spend time with your family and the popcorn helps with that. It tastes sweet and makes you feel good. Just don’t eat too much! Hugging my friends, family and stuffies makes me happy. There's just something about it that makes me feel good. Opening the door to go into my house feels safe. Picking up a toy or controller to play something feels really nice. As soon as I go into my house, I can smell the fresh breeze from the air conditioner. The smell of dinner or lunch is yummy. The smell of the popcorn I eat when I'm watching a movie makes my mouth water. The feeling of home… Is so familiar, it feels like I was just there. And whenever I walk through that door, I know, It’s home.
