What makes my home a home to me

~What makes my home a home to me~ What makes my house a home is coming out of my room and seeing my family watching tv. Playing cards every night with my grandma and grandpa. Sitting at the dinner table and eating the amazing food my mom cooks. Feeling comfortable to wear what I want whenever I want. It makes me feel safe and happy. Not knowing what to do but getting the answer with a simple question. It's knowing you have a roof over your head, having somewhere to sleep, sit, and lie down as you may be sick but knowing there's someone or something to make you feel better if it’s medicine or family. When you feel sad there's someone there to hold you and make you feel not so bad. Even just spending the weekend baking with your family! Christmas morning feeling so crisp. Spending the morning ripping and tearing the wrapping paper and throwing it to the side! Watching a football game and hearing all the cheers and yells but also the boos and anger. On thanksgiving waiting for for all your family to fill up your house to every inch! That is what makes my house a home! Hopefully habitat for humanity can make the same for many more!
