Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? My home looks like a typical apartment that has a comfortable couch and a big TV which is a place where we bond together and watch movies together. It is full of love and happiness for our family. My home smells like a cake that is sweet as sugar. My sister loves to bake cupcakes and sweet treats for me and our family. She is good at that and I’m good at eating what she bakes. Home sounds like a speaker with music in it. It is loud and full of stories. In our home, we guarantee that everyone shares how the day is going so far. My mom, my sister, and I love to sing karaoke. It’s our girl bonding time. My home feels like a bed. I’m comfortable and feel safe. I do whatever I want just like a dog without a leash who is free to roam around. Home makes me feel like I don’t need to force myself and I can be myself whenever I am home. Last but not the least, home tastes like delicious and savory food. It smells good everyday whenever my mom is cooking. She is good at cooking our favorite comfort foods. Yes, we have misunderstandings sometimes, but we don’t spend a day without talking about it. I also fight with my brother because he annoys me, but we get along and I don’t mind it. My home is where you feel the love and the genuineness of our family.
