What Home Means to Me
I love my home and wish everyone could have one. This is what home means to me. A home is a place where I can eat, sleep and talk to my family. A house is a structure to feel warm, cold and safe. A yard is a place to play, laugh and cry. Those are three important things. Those things make a property a home.
My home is a wonderful place full of laughter and joy. Home is a place where I feel comfortable. At home I can sleep as much as I desire. At home I can eat till I'm full. Home is a place to talk to my family. That is what a home is to me.
My house is a secure structure never to collapse. My house is built like a castle but small like a home. I can feel so warm in the cold winter months in my house. In my home I can feel cold in the hot summer months. My home is a household that is safe and secure. That is what a house is to me.
My yard is an important factor of my home. It is where my dog, my brother and I play all together. My yard is a place to play games. The backyard place where we laugh at fun games. It is also a place to cry when we are hurt. That is what a yard is to me.
A house, a home and a yard. Three important factors of a home. That is why I'm thankful for Habitat for Humanity for giving people a place to do all these things. So thank you Habitat for Humanity for making all this possible. Homes are important.
