Feeling of Home

Home is a place where I feel safe. Home is a place for happy memories. The warm feeling of cookies fresh from the oven; that is the feeling of home. Home could be the feeling of a relaxing waterfall, a lively forest, a warm crackling fire or cold wind blowing on the coldest night of the year. Home should be a comfortable place to rest and be calm. Now, picture a home... do you think of a house or an apartment building? Home is so much more than that. Home is more than a house, home is like coming back from school to very cute cats asking for attention. A sunset on the water. Then turning into a shining night sky. Home is a shooting star, drifting through the cosmos. Home is a place to be myself. A sad truth is that a lot of people don't have a home or don't have great homes. Thanks to Habitat for Humanity, more and more people have amazing , wonderful homes.
