The Pyramid Of Home
When I think of home, I think of all the different people in it
As well as the beautifully diverse cultures that inhabit it
When I think of home, it’s the anthem that we sing
The joy that our bright red flag brings
When I think of home, it’s the maple trees that fill our land
The turquoise mountains that are strong and grand
When I think of home, it’s the Oilers that catch my eye
As skates slash the ice with loud roars in the sky
When I think of home, it’s the warm blanket with a cup of tea
Looking out the window as brilliant snow covers trees
When I think of home, it’s the pancakes with my family
They warm my heart and soul quite happily
