Meaning of Home

A house isn't like a home at all. A house is more like a box only with a roof and walls and maybe a couch, bed or table. A home is more. A home is more than just roof and walls, a home is feeling love and care and most important family. A home isn't a home without family or memories. It's something you can call your own. Think of homeless people they live out in the street. They don't have a place to call home or a bed to run and hide in if they're scared or a roof to cover them from the rain and snow, walls to keep the warmth in. Or a place to look and see happy memories or see none at all. That's why Habitat for humanity is good. They give people home to stay warm inside and a place to live, a place to call their own. Now they don't have to stand out in the streets begging for money. They can be safe now.
