Home is my comfort zone

Hi, my name is Ella Crowell, and I'm 10 and I wanted to tell you that to me home is the warm feeling of soft mashed potatoes hitting the roof of my mouth. Home is putting my helmet on in the warm sun to take a bike ride to my friend's house to spend the night. Home is going outside for a walk to the small stream in the ditch. Home is laying down a small blanket for a short picnic with my stuffies. Home is listening to the calm rushing water. Home is sitting down next to the fire, and munching on some fresh salty popcorn. Home is my congregation, even if we're not related, we're still all brothers and sisters together. Home is my grandma and grandpa's house. Home is the feeling of perfectly chilled eggnog going down my throat. Home is my dad spoiling me and packing tons of chocolate for my lunch. Home is my dog Martha running up to the door to greet me when I come back home. Sometimes I forget how fortunate I am, and to have what I have. But I try my best to remember that my home has a roof and walls but that's not all…
