Meaning of Home

What is the meaning of home? Home is our safe place, where we can rest, sleep, play, and enjoy our lives. Home is a place full of memories, and feelings,like love, joy, or laughter. In my home, there are people living in it,which are my mom, dad, sister, brother, and me, we’re a loving family. We do a lot of activities in our home. Like talking, playing, studying, and working, plus many other activities. I’ll now talk about different places in my home, the important ones. I have 2 living rooms, one on the main floor, and in my basement. The basement is used by my siblings, who play and have fun, while mom uses it for work. The kitchen is very important in our home. We sit down on our chairs, and eat amazing food made by my mom together, while we talk to each other on different topics. Theirs 2 bedrooms being used, my family while I sleep by myself. When it was my family’s first few years in Winnipeg, we moved to 3 houses after 1 - 2 years. I equally love them all because it gave us warmth and shelter from the cold and all the memories my family and I made. I hope I can take a vacation in the Philippines soon. It’s my home country, I lived there in 2017 for 2 months, we were staying there before we moved to Canada. Many of my family and friends live in the Philippines. And the activities and scenery there are amazing. I hope I can go there by December to Janurary. Home is where love and family is. They’re true when they say, “There’s no place like home.”
