Meaning of Home
Home is one of the things I am most grateful for. It feels like a big warm blanket everyone shares. I love the food mom buys or cooks and she adds a lot of love into it. My house may look cramped for four people, but everyone is accepted and loved. The smell of incense and candles fill the house with love. Home is a place that everyone is accepted and everyone has a part to take care of it.
My home is like a warm blanket covering everyone at home. The house is not too cold and not too hot. No one complains about the temperature. Everyone is safe physically and mentally. In and out of the house is safe and secure. Everyone thinks and acts safely and does what is important.
Home sometimes smells like noodle soup that my mom cooks. The air smells like noodles, carrots, mushrooms, vegetables, and tofu. Sometimes I help with cooking too, like cutting the vegetables or warming up the noodles. The process is fun because of how tasty the noodle soup is. Everyone in the family is grateful and happy for the love and effort in this dish.
Inside and out of the house sound like everyone talking positively about everyone and other people. All of our conversations together are a mix of Vietnamese and english. Some words in Vietnamese are words I don’t know, so I get confused and do the wrong things I am supposed to do. We work it out afterwards so no chaos gets too big in the house. So nothing negative gets worse and worse between anyone's relationship.
The atmosphere in the house is so calming because it smells like flowers and incense. I love the scent and it adds touches of warmth and happiness around me. Once the air gets purified, I feel calm and relaxed when it is on. The purifier makes the house smell like ginger. I love the smell of my house that wraps me in joy.
