A Place to Call Home
My home is somewhere where I can go night-swimming with my family. Dive in the pool, and go under the waterfall when the pool heater is on.
I walk my neighbor's dog around the block in the bright sun, or in the night where I can see the stars as they shine so beautifully. I’m so lucky to be able to walk in a safe neighborhood.
I can eat delicious breakfast, scrambled eggs, or pancakes with rich maple syrup. I eat surrounded by people I love.
Home is more than a place with four walls and a roof. Home is a place filled with love. Home is a safe place where I can be myself.
I think it’s important that everyone can have a place like this. That’s why I'm so thankful that Habitat for Humanity is building homes for those who don’t have a place to call home.
