At The End of The Rainbow

At The End of The Rainbow On the bus, driving home from school, I having the worst day. Sitting alone, knowing that no one likes me. That is the worst feeling. It feels like I am living in a black and white world. While on the bus, just wanting to disappear, I saw a pop of color. Red, blue, green, and yellow. It seemed to be a rainbow. It appeared that the bus was following it, but I was not sure. The bus stopped, and then I saw a bright blue door, shining brighter than the sun. I was so amazed by the glittering, beautiful colour that I did not realize it was my stop. I ran off the bus and stepped inside to be greeted by my cuddly, fluffy, loving dog. He was jumping all over me, so excited and happy that I was home with him. He always puts a smile on my face. I took off my shoes and walked into the kitchen following the delicious smell of pasta and homemade sauce made by my mother. I gave her a big hug. Sometimes just a hug can make you feel so much better. Then my dad walked in making cheesy jokes. He always makes me laugh. He gave me a hug and started to help with dinner. In the living room, my brother always plays with his soccer ball. It makes me happy when he does a cool trick. Then, we sat at the dinner table, all together, talking and laughing with each other. That is the best part of my home! Many people say there is a pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. I think that is true! At the end of my rainbow, I see strength, stability, independence, and my loving family, who is always there for me! That is my home!
