Home Not House

There is a difference between a home and a house - when I think of a house it’s all black and white, but when I think of a home it has color. A house has concrete and bricks, a home has comfort and love. Comfort for me is a big part of home. Home is where I can come after a long day of school, jump onto my bed and listen to my music in my room. The way I see it is if you don’t feel comfortable at your home is it really your home? Home would not be the same without any of my pets. When I ever feel in danger my pets would always comfort me. They can be laying on my lap, or even just being there helps with my anxiety. I try to be as grateful as I can because I have a bed, food a roof over my head, and I know a lot of other kids in the world don’t have any of that, so I am grateful to my parents and to God for giving me a home. Hopefully more kids are able to feel grateful like me with a home and not just a house.
