Home is the Best Place to Feel Safe
I’m glad I have a home.
And that is why I am writing this poem.
Some people don’t have a home, so the streets they roam.
But with Habitat for Humanity, they don’t have to be alone.
When I think of home, I see a bonfire.
Flames shining bright, smiles even brighter.
When I think of home, I see a bright blaze of joy.
But some people don’t have that, and it makes them feel coy.
If you want to help someone in need, go check out Habitat for Humanity.
Not everyone has a home, and to me that is insanity.
