Home Is Love By: Darcee W. Home is a place where I feel loved. When I think of my home, I think of my cute cats, playing with my friends and eating my mom’s food. Home is a place where when I come from school, I get to see my adorable cat Eevee sleeping on my wooden rocking chair. Watching her sleep makes my heart melt. Then when I go upstairs, I usually see my other cat, Binx sleeping on my bed or chilling under my comfy bed. Home is where I see my annoying cat Binx, chasing Eevee around the house creating a banging noise. Also when I come home from school, I get to call my best friend (BFF) and play Roblox with her. We play a Roblox horror game called DOORS. I love laying on my bed which is the comfiest bed alive while I play with my BFF. When I'm home, we eat at about 6:00, and that’s when I get to taste my mom’s best cooking ever. Sometimes she orders the food, too. Home tastes like a delicious burning hot chicken pot pie straight out of the microwave. It is my favourite food. Home just makes me feel like I'm safe, and loved. One time when I was scared, my mom said to me, “Whenever you are scared, say this to yourself; I am safe, I am protected, I am loved.” That makes me happy. I love to smell my mom's cooking at home. I love the feel of my cat’s ultra-fluffy fur when I pet them. I am happy to have a home. I love my family! I love my home!
