Home Can be Anything
Home. A single word with so many meanings. My home is not just a place where I live; it’s a place where I have fun, play with my friends, and spend time with my family. A home can be anything.
When I’m at school, learning about how to solve the area of a parallelogram, I feel at home. When I’m trying to solve the new daily chess problem with my friends, I feel at home. When I’m swimming a 50 meter butterfly race at a meet, I feel at home. When I’m performing Vivaldi’s Four Seasons on my violin, I feel at home. And of course, when I’m at my house, playing board games or watching shows with my family, I feel at home. Everyone deserves a home, a place where they can stay and sleep, and also something they enjoy doing. A home is people you enjoy being with. Doing something you enjoy doing. A place you enjoy being at. A home can be anything.
