Home

Home, It is a place, it is a word, and there are so many different ways to imagine what it is and what it means, that's why so many people have their own way of imagining what home means to them. Here is a list of some of the things I think home means to me. Home means family, for when your family is near, you feel safe, secure, and protected from the hardship and suffering of the world. When you get back from school or work you are exhausted by all the work, but when you see your family, you smile. Your house would be a particularly more direct way of defining the word home, and it is very much like it for me. My house is like the cover that keeps me warm and safe from the bitter and cold weather of the winter snow storms, it could also be the furniture inside it that helps me so much in hard times. Furniture like my bed would give me a good rest and help me to stay warm. Furniture like a couch would give me a soft comfortable place to sit, instead of the cold hard ground. And even furniture like a fireplace that warms up the house that I am grateful to live in, my house and its furniture inside it, is always giving to me, and I am so grateful for all of it, that's why I think that my house and the furniture inside it is one of the things I have that I would call home. I am so grateful for my house, for my family, and even for the furniture inside my house, all of these are what home means to me and what I am grateful for.
