If Home Wasn't Home

If home wasn't home, I wouldn't smell the scent of fresh yummy pancakes. If home wasn't home, I wouldn't feel the energy of my little brother chasing me in a game of tag. If home wasn't home, I wouldn't taste the freshly baked cookies with vanilla ice cream at night. If home wasn't home, I wouldn't hear my friends over at my house playing video games and having fun. If home wasn't home, I wouldn't see all my relatives at the dinner table. Chatting about what they all did today and what their life used to be like back then. Home is something I can smell, feel, taste, hear, and see. Home isn't something I can go without. Home is something we can all love and feel safe in. There is no place like home.
