Meaning of Home
H: stands for heat, hugs, and being happy. When I am at home I am always warm because I have the heater on. With the heater on I feel like I am cozy and in the right place where I belong. Whenever I am sad I know that there will always be someone there that will give me hugs when I am down. When I'm at home I know I'll \always be happy because I have food to eat and clean drinking water.
O: stands for being open, opportunities, and being organized. When I’m at home I know I am in a safe place and I could be open to my dad whenever I am sad. Whenever I am at home I know I have lots of opportunities like going outside to a safe place and not having to stay inside because there is a war. When I am at home I am very organized. I'm very organized so that I know where all my homework is.
M: stands for good mornings, memories, and watching movies. Every morning my dad will come into my room to wake me up and say good morning. When he says good morning it makes me feel happy. When I'm at home I like to make memories with my dad. For example if my dad and I were playing a board game we would take a picture for memories. Every weekend my dad and I would watch a movie together.
E: stands for excited, enjoyable, and eating. When I come home from school I am so excited to go home and see my dad. To me home is an enjoyable place where I can have fun and learn new things. Whenever I am at home I love to eat all the food that I make with my dad. For example, the other day we made homemade buttermilk fried chicken.
Home is such a small word but it has such a big meaning. Home is a place where you feel safe. It is not just four walls and a roof it is a place where you know that everybody will love and respect you no matter what. When you are at home you know that you are safe but sometimes people have to leave their home because it is not safe. People have to leave their home because of war and sometimes even their loved ones behind.
