What Home Means To Me
What Home Means to Me
Home, if you have one, you are a very lucky person. Home is where you have family, where you feel secure, and have memories. Everyone deserves a home where they can make memories.
Family: Home is a place where you feel happy as you know whenever you come back home, there will be someone waiting for you. Someone you know you can confide in to make you feel better. Someone you know you can trust. Whenever I come home from school, and my parents give me a hug, I get this feeling of warmth and safety. I feel like nothing in the world can touch me when my parents are with me. Home means the community I live in, my friends, my school, and the countries I belong to. Every corner of the world where you feel you have a family is home.
Security: During the winter, I am so grateful to have a house to stay warm and safe. Otherwise, I would freeze to death! Another important thing about having shelter is that you don’t have to worry about the bug or mold or anything that could be a health problem, because the walls of your house are rock solid. One last thing, a home isn’t all just family and feelings, a home could be right in the house!
Memories: Home is a place where each corner is filled with beautiful memories, in one corner you may have fallen when learning to walk, another corner you may have opened a very special gift. I always remember, whenever we go out somewhere for a long time and we come back, no matter how fun the place we went was, I was always happy to come home. First, I didn’t know why, but now, as I’m writing this essay, I figured it’s our home, calling to us to make more lasting memories we will always remember and cherish.
A home doesn’t have to be big and fancy or even modern. A home is all about the people or places that make it so special.
