Home Is Where The Heart Is

Home is Where The Heart Is By: Emad A. Without love and family, there would be no home. Home is a place where everything is possible. Home is a safe haven and a comfort zone. It is a place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. My Home Home looks like my parents working, my siblings playing, and a place like Heaven. Home smells like baby diapers, foods like pizza, shawarma and hamburgers. Home tastes like Coca-Cola, pizza, ice cream, cake and sweets. Home feels like happiness and my favorite White fuzzy soft blanket. And my home makes me feel sweet, loved and HAPPY!! My Story Syria Canada I flew to Jordan because in Syria there was a war. Then I came to Canada where it was better since there were no Wars. I didn't have to worry. I didn't need to be scared. I found a house where I could be safe with my family. My house keeps me warm and I can hear my sisters playing and my little brother crying. I love watching my sisters watch TV with my little brother and eating popcorn. It makes me feel a lot of happiness. I enjoy watching the snow out the window coming down like crazy and drinking hot chocolate. When I finish the hot chocolate, I go to my bed with my blue fuzzy, soft blanket and pillow. I have a comfy bed. I feel for the people that were in Syria and Canada that don't have homes. It makes me so sad and one night I couldn’t sleep because I was thinking about the people in Syria and Canada. I couldn't even sleep until my mom came and helped me. Then I slept and when I woke up in the morning I had breakfast on this snowy day. I was glad to be safe in my home in Canada. I was still sad knowing that people didn't have homes. I hope that they get a home.
