What home means to me

By Sawyer Maclaurin hogg Teachers name Mr. Bridges “Home to me is a place I can work, play, study, spend time with my family and also a place I feel safe . Home is a quiet place I can think about mistakes or scary moments that have happened to me earlier in my life or just anything I want or need to think about . At a home you can have privacy and be happy in the place that you live in. when I’m at home sometimes I think about how some people that are experiencing poverty or homelessness don’t have a safe and warm place to live and I can think about how lucky I am to have a roof over my head food on the table and a warm bed to sleep in . if I were ever kidnapped or lost somewhere the one place I would want to be is in my home with my parents and family . I always know that home is a safe place I can go to feel included and feel loved. I know that I always have a room to go to if I feel sad or depressed and just want to spend time in by my self I also know that I have parents that I can tell anything that bothers me like guilt, being sad, feeling left out and other random things that I want to tell them . home is somewhere I can find something to do and can stick to it and not be distracted or stopped. A place that I can go relax not feel stressed do homework in a quiet environment . and a place to sleep and love . that is home to me
