Home is more than just four walls and a roof. Home is safe. Home is where my mom hugs me and makes me feel ok, even if I fail. Home is like the smell of freshly baked cookies in the oven. Home is warm, wrapped up in a fuzzy blanket on the couch. Home is the feeling of love and being surrounded by family and friends. Home is going on a trip on the road, but knowing you have a warm house to return to. Home is the sound of your family talking and laughing.It is making funny sentences with my sister. Home is the feeling of hope. Home protects you from the weather and the dangers outside. Home is yours. You share it with the ones you love. You have a home. Be grateful! Not everyone has a home, but thanks to Habitat for Humanity families around Canada may be given a home.
