Home I Love

As I come home I feel safe. As the snow falls I hear the birds sing. The sounds of the car driving by. And at night I hear the coyotes running in the deep snow. I run down and watch a movie as I crack open a nice coke and I eat the warm fresh popcorn that my mom made. I feel the cold breeze on my face as I play outside. I see the birds having fun in the trees. I turn On my LED lights and the beautiful colors fill my mind with happiness. I lay on my bed, look out my window and watch the snow fall down. Gaming with my friends and talking about my day when I sleep I feel safe. I don't worry what is outside the rum of the cars coming home. When I come home from school I feel the warm air hit my face by my brother talking to his friends while my mom is working. And I took a BIG bite and I burned my mouth as I ate chili. After I watched the hockey game as McDavid shot the puck and he scored the winning goal it fills me with happiness. When I put up the Christmas tree I remember my Dad helping us out. I feel sad on Christmas. I miss my dad helping out and filling the room full of joy. But it is empty without my dad. When I wake up on Christmas I run down to the basement. I don't find my dad but I run back up and I open the first gift and I feel happy again. I tell my mom that “I love christmas mom” I go outside and then a huge snow storm comes and I feel safe under a roof of love.
