Home For Me

“ There is no school equal to a decent home and no teacher equal to a virtuous parent.”- unknown author Home doesn't always mean the building you live in, it can mean a place where you feel most comforted and at ease. Once a year, I feel most happy to go to the place that feels like home. Every time I arrive home, as soon as I step off the teensy-weensy ferry where I have made so many memories with my family, all my anxiety and fear suddenly disappears.(but of course they will come back again like always) For me a home is a happy place where there's all sorts of laughs and smiles. If my home were a sound, it would be the heavy metal music that we would jam out to all night, The sound of laughter that my brother Cooper, my dad Morgan and I comfort each other with. My home as a sight would be the smiles that we see everyday. The stars we gaze upon all night. For me if home were a smell it would be the briny smell of the salt water that flows around us. These are all the things that make up my home. So this is where you stop reading…
