Happy Home

Have you ever heard of the saying, ”It's not how big the house is, it's how happy the home is”? Well, it's true because it really doesn't matter. What matters is that the people are happy, healthy, loved and much more! My Italian grandma Nonna's house is filled with the smell of wonderful fresh baked cookies and delicious chocolates. Those yummy treats smell so good that I can almost taste them on my tongue. I don't bake much in my home, but when I do, it usually doesn't go well. There can be a lot of misunderstandings between my family members and I. So baking isn't our thing, but my family enjoys cooking. My family loves to cook a lot of family dinners and just dinners in general, like my dad's delicious steak. In my home my family loves to travel, especially to warm places. We haven't been to many places before. Well, let me rephrase that my brother and I have not been to many places before. I've only been to one other country other than Canada, the U.S.A. Soon that's about to change, but that's for another time. On the outside, the house may be made out of bricks, stone, concrete or cement. To me my home is everything. It's not just a structure, it’s my family, my dog, my warm cozy bed, and so much more. On the inside, the home is made with people and pets, love and happiness. That is what my home means to me.
