Home

Home isn’t just the place where you live, it’s the place you belong, a home isn’t a home, if you don’t feel you belong there. A home should feel safe, a home should feel true, where you can be yourself. You should be able to open up about how you feel, you should be around people who you support who support you. Home isn’t just a place you are with your family, your school or community could be your home if you feel they are the right people for you. You could feel your whole country is your home, maybe you have two homes because your parents live in two different houses or your grandparent’s house feels like a home. You might have a really close friend who makes you feel like you’re home. Home isn’t just the same place your whole life, it can change, like if you move houses or stay somewhere else for a while that makes you feel safe or like you’re home. Even if no place feels like home to you, that’s ok because sometimes you just don’t feel right.
