HOME IS VERY IMPORTANT

Home is very important. Home means food, shelter, warmth, so many things. Unfortunately, many families do not have proper homes. Many families live in poverty in places like Haiti and Libya. In many places people do not live in safety because there is endless danger and crime. Still more are homeless. I could make an endless list of places where people live in poverty and are homeless. Many people have no idea what it is like to live as a homeless person. This is horrible. This has to stop. Habitat for Humanity can provide people with a safe place to live. They operate on every continent except Antarctica. Sadly, sometimes I see people without homes on the streets. People have to work about 500 hours in front of Habitat for Humanity to show that they can manage a safe home. So far, they have given many families homes. They are a great organization. I will give some information about Habitat for Humanity. Habitat’s founders were Linda and Millard Fuller. They created Habitat as a non-profit organization. The organization was founded in 1976. They built houses for people without proper homes. Habitat is a Christian organization. They work to bring God’s love to every part of the planet. They want to give a decent home to everyone on earth. Habitat operates in greater than seventy countries. That is just a little about how home is so important.
