What Home Means and What It Is

When I walk in the house after a long day at school, and I’m tired and the weather is cold, I feel the warmth of the house. I say hi to my mom. I walk into the kitchen to get a snack and some hot chocolate. As I sip the hot chocolate, I feel the warmth of it go down my throat and enter my stomach. It warms my whole body up. After, I go play a game then I sit down on the couch and curl up with a blanket. I feel warm and safe here at home. When I crawl in bed after a long day, I feel my warm blankets on top of me as I fall fast asleep. It is cozy here in my bed at home. I like it here at home where it's warm, safe, and cozy!
