My Home

My home is more than a building; it’s shelter, warmth, and joy. I love my home, and me and my family are lucky to have one, for some people don’t. You build fun memories in a home, that’s the special thing. I have a comfortable bed, and a special place to hang out with my friends and family. My neighbours are special too, for I have fun playing with them. My neighborhood is great, I walk my dog, and there’s a bakery down the street! I also like the hiking trails, for they have some beautiful trees, and nice hiding places (Heh). This is Canada, a place with harsh winters, and hot summers. I am lucky to have a roof over my head during those weathers. My home is comfortable, cozy, and joyful. I have a ravine in my backyard, and we had to put a fence up so my dog wouldn’t run into the woods. For me, this isn’t just a home. This is my home. A house is four walls, and a home is something special, the thing you love and care for. The thing you build fun memories in. I have a special reading spot, depending on the season/weather. My room for Winter, outside for Summer. No matter the room, the space, the look, the comfort, I love my home the way it is. ~The End~
