My Meaning of Home

Home, a powerful word that has different meanings for different people. This is mine. A house becomes a home. A home is no longer just a house when laughter fills the hallways or when sadness fills a room . A place to feel safe and talk if something’s wrong. Home is a place where no judgement is present.Home is a place to host if a loved one is tight on money. Home is a place where the people you love and care about always have your back no matter what. An area where you would raise a child and family of your very own. Home is a place of respect. This is my meaning of home and I know that it might be different for other people, but I’m pretty sure that everyone can agree when I say that home is a place to feel safe no matter what. In my family I have an older brother, mother and father and I have had so many amazing memories, whether it's playing video games or playing cards or even just sitting there enjoying each other’s company. I know some people don’t have a place to call home but I hope that the small amount of money from this entry will help, although it’s not too much. If I had a job I would donate more if I could.
