The Meaning of home for me

The meaning of home for me is somewhere where you can play with your family, you can relax in your room and you can always feel safe. In my home, I usually just play with my friends online. But sometimes in the summer my family and I go to the lake, or to the park to take Harvey for a stroll. My family is an important part of my home because they are some of the main people that I see in my life. They are really amusing to play with, and play with (even my sister) when they are in a good mood. A lot of the things in my home are just toys and entertainment, but most of the important items are either memories in pictures or souvenirs from our many trips. A souvenir that my family and I got from Maui was a weird but interesting glass, that has a happy face on one side and a sad one on the other. My family doesn't really have any pets anymore, because when I was about 4 we had a cat named Maya who died when she was 15. Since Maya died dad said that she was enough and we weren’t getting any more pets, so now we only have 4 chickens outside that we can’t play with. The only real pets that we hang out with are my grandma’s dog Harvey and my cousin Chad’s cat Angus. The memories in my home are what make me love it so much, because if I went to a random person’s house it would be cool to explore it but I wouldn’t have the same connection to it that I do with my house. That is the meaning of home for me.
