What Home Means to Me

Home is an important place in people’s lives; home can mean many different things. To me, it’s a place where you can be yourself without there being standards that you have to meet. It’s a place where you’re surrounded by people whom you love, and care about. Home is a place where you feel safe and protected especially if you don’t feel like you are in a group. Some people might think that a home is a physical building made of brick and mortar, but to me, it means much more than that. To me, home is more of an emotion than a physical building. I think that you can be at home, even if you’re not at your house. You can be at home in a community, you can be at home doing something that you love, and being with people whom you love. I think that one of the most important things about being at home is that you feel free to be yourself. I think that no matter what, it’s important to stay true to yourself. If you find yourself being pulled into a group where you can be yourself, but there’s also a standard that you have to meet in order for you to stay in that group, I don’t think that that’s actually a home. It’s important to know that (if nowhere else) home is a place where you can be yourself without a standard that you have to meet. I feel that I can be myself without a standard at my home. I think that being home is a feeling of loving and caring about people, and they feel the same way about you. If you’re in a group and you care about the people around you, but you don’t feel like they feel the same way about you, or that they’re using you for something, you’re probably not at home with them. I think that you can feel if you’re at home, and if you’re not. I feel at home when I’m around my family, and my friends. Home should be a place where you feel safe and protected, especially if you don’t at school, or in a group. I think that you should feel safe at home, emotionally, and physically. Being safe at home emotionally has a lot to do with you, and who you spend your time with. I think that Habitat for humanity can however help with being safe physically. In conclusion, I think that home means a place where you can be yourself without any standards that you have to meet. It’s a place where you’re surrounded by people whom you love, and care about. Home is a place where you feel safe, and protected. P.S. I love what you’re doing, and I wanted to do something, so thank you so much for doing all of this!
