Home, My Home

My home is a place where I can be relieved of all my problems. I can be at ease and put my mind into the state of complete happiness, satisfaction and accomplishment. My home teaches me responsibility, staying strong in hard times, being thankful and having hope. My home helps me in my darkest times and protects me from all the disasters and grave dangers outside. It prepares me for all the life challenges up ahead in my life. The home is a part of your heart and it's bound to be the part for your whole life! Many generations of my family live in my home, sharing stories which are being passed on. New traditions, cultural teachings all being passed on. Home is where family is and family is where home is. What makes it a home is it’s qualities. A home can be a dumpster if it has the qualities of it. It doesn't need to be expensive or fancy, it just has to be a home. A home is made up of qualities, those qualities are made up of values we see, hear and feel in our home. An example can be, the value of my home is when there is a fight, we listen to both sides and solve the matter peacefully. My grandparents are still in India and our home is incomplete without them. When they are here all our sorrows will go away and we can be there for each other in challenging times. What really matters to me is me and my family altogether and living our life comfortably in peace with each other till the end. Those values I see, hear and feel in my home everyday and that’s what makes a home’s qualities, that’s what makes it special for each and everyone of us.
