MEANING OF HOME

Home means spending time with family. Having fun watching movies on a Saturday night. Eating popcorn and drinking Gatorade. Home means helping my mom make homemade Italian food. We make pizza, lasagna, fresh tomato sauce, ravioli, zeppole, cannolis. My favorite is making fresh tomato sauce. I enjoy straining the tomatoes which turn into sauce. Home gives you shelter and keeps you off the street. Protects you from the cold weather. Home makes you feel safe and free from any violence that is happening outdoors. Home is a place where you can invite family or friends. You can have a Christmas dinner or celebrate a birthday. The most important thing is being together. Home can be a peaceful place where you can rest, take a nap, read or just hear the noise of the fridge. Home means playing fun games like checkers, monopoly, family feud, and card games. Most of all home to me is cherishing my family and making special memories to last forever.
