Home

Do you know the differences between a house and a home? Well, let me explain. I believe a home is not just where you live. It can mean way more than that. To me a home is safe, loving, and where memories are made. Firstly, a home is where my memories are made. It’s where I took my first steps and said my first words. It's that smell I've smelled since I was born. Home is where I met my puppy and my little sister. Home is where all my memories are. I also believe a home deserves to be safe. It should feel physically and emotionally safe. It should have no bugs, a strong shelter with access to every door. My home has a dyke protecting us from flooding. Even my parent's arms wrapping around me for a cozy hug makes me feel safe. Lastly, your home should be full of love and smiles. My smiles can come from my family, neighbors and pets. Even if it's just a hug from your family members or a kiss from your dog. I know love surrounds my home. As you can see, I love my home. All homes should be full of love, feel safe and hold memories. I hope my writing this helps a family in need. Everyone deserves a good home.
