What is the meaning of home?

“Home isn’t a place, it’s a feeling.” - Cecelia Ahern Home isn't just a place where you stay, it is something that makes you happy. You don’t need a house to have a home. A home is a place where you are welcomed. Home is something that makes you happy. When you come back home at the end of a really long, bad day, your family or things in your home can make you feel better. Your home can help you through hard times because it can give you space and cheer you up. You don’t need a house to have a home. Some people might have big, fancy mansions as a home and not be happy. Some people might only have a tiny apartment or even not have a house and be happy. It’s okay to not have a house because you don’t need a house to have a home, you don’t need family or toys to have a home, you just need to feel safe and happy in your home. A home is a place where you are welcomed. You have to feel happy, warm and allowed in your home, you can’t be scared inside your home, you have to feel safe. If you are not welcomed in your home, you won’t be able to get your feelings out and feel depressed. Therefore, the meaning of home is something that makes you happy, you don’t need a house to have a home, and a home is a place where you are welcomed.
