What is a home?

What is a home? A house is a building with a roof and four walls, a home is a feeling. A place where you can be safe, where you can be yourself. You could relax or take a nice warm bubble bath. You will share memories and silly moments with your family and friends. Sometimes you may play with your pets or siblings, or you may be watching a movie with your family. A home is where you learn and be silly, practice and care, laugh and cry, play and love, and most of all you feel at home. You will make memories as you get older and wiser, you will learn right from wrong, and make life-long bonds. A home is wherever you are; whether it's a car, a condo, an apartment, or a house, wherever you live is your home. You should never be afraid or ashamed in or about your home. A home is where you can be yourself and be blessed. In my home we show forgiveness and passion. You should always feel grateful that you have a home because many people have no home or nothing over their heads. It's sad to think that not everyone gets to have a home. All the cold nights, all the snow and rain and no place to call home. That's why you should be happy and thankful that you have a home and a roof over your head. That might not be what home means to you but it is for me.
