What Home Means to Me

The day before my 7th birthday, I went to the hospital to get my tonsils and adenoids taken out. Being at the hospital was not fun. I had to sleep in an uncomfortable bed and woke up to a clown. It turns out it was Ronal McDOnald, and that was pretty terrifying. He tried to give me McDonald's. For most kids, that would be the best thing ever! For me, not so much because I'm gluten-free and adenoids taken out. Now I'm in the car, and it's a pretty cold January day. I got home tired, sad and not able to talk. I opened the door and saw party streamers, balloons of different sizes and colors, and my family standing altogether. It made me fell so happy and cheerful inside. My home means more to me than just a place where you eat and sleep. It is a place where you make memories. It's filled with happy, sad and even mad times but it is a place where your family will always be. My home is the best place I know because it's where my family is!
