A Home to Stay

Hi I'm Bob I have no house I'm living like a little mouse. No roof, no walls, no phone for calls. But then one day some people wrote and got me money for a coat. More than a coat, a house to stay and that is where my head will lay. And now to this day I have a house No longer am I a little mouse. I like this place it is so nice It will protect me from the winter ice And from the storms and rain and snow And don't you know a house is best when looking for a late night's rest? Everyone should have their own, place to live A place to play, a place to laugh and run and eat and sleep! A safe, healthy, caring home. Big or small, two stories or one. Your home is where you can have some fun. Now with kids of my own I hope they can help someone get a home. It doesn't matter their job or age Everybody, not just one or two people should have a house, Everyone should have a place to live! A place to feel happy, a place where you fit in, And most of all a home to stay.
