Home Is Always One Of A Kind

Home is a place where you can make memories. A home is a place where you can be yourself. Many will think a house is that same place where you learn to walk or say your first word. Although it’s not, a house is a building you live in, but a home is much more than that. I learned how to walk and talk in my home that I still live into this very day. Each day when I come home from school home means even more to me every time I step into that tall, dark-coloured wooden door. Even when I’m having a bad day, as soon as I take the first step into my home it manages to put a slight smile on my face despite the fact that I felt off that day. My home is filled with humour and love. I am so grateful I have a warm and safe home I can come to every day after school. Sometimes I feel stressed and tired at school, but when I come home I know I have a safe place to relax and relieve all the weight on my shoulders if I fall behind. Home is where I had my first sleepover with a friend, home is where I baked my first batch of cookies with my mum. Home is the first place I came after I was born. Not everyone has a mansion or owns their dream house, but they have a home despite how many times they have moved houses or spent time outside of their house. Even though my house is filled with toys and my siblings are scampering across the house, it’s still home no matter the change. I hope you all see why I wrote this, thank you for reading.
