My Home

I love my home because I feel safe and loved when I am at home. I know that my house is secure and nobody would be able to get in without us knowing. The floorboards and stairs creak with every step. We can hear when people come in. Our cat would protect us by hissing and scratching any strangers. Other noises I hear around my house are my sister laughing or playing the drums. Her laugh can make me happy or creep me out. When she plays the drums in the basement you can hear the sound on the top floor. She is so loud that she can’t even hear me when I ask her to be quiet. When my mom cooks my favourite noodles. It smells tasty. She bakes our birthday cakes and decorates them. My dad helps me and he also plays Mario with us. At Christmas my family decorates the house. I wish every body had a home like mine.
