What Home Means To Me

Home is not a place in life, it is a place in your heart. In your home you can feel safe.A home is somewhere comfortable and to your liking. Somewhere you can be yourself is a home. Home is a heart full of peace. Somewhere you feel safe is a home not a house because in a house you don’t always feel safe. A home is somewhere you like, feel safe, and have family and pets.In a house you might own it but you don’t have to feel safe because it might not be to your liking. A home is a place where you feel safe and peaceful, where you don't have to worry so much because you are in a safe place in life. If you are looking for a place that is comfortable, then a home is just what you are looking for. A home is somewhere comfortable, where you might have your own room and your own stuff and where you might have pets but in a shelter you only have a bed to share and food. A home has lots of nice things like a bed to yourself, stuffies, bedding, and last but not least your own room. In a home you can be yourself for some time. In a home you can feel comfortable being yourself and maybe have some me time and watch a movie if you like but in a shelter you can't watch a movie or have me time you can’t always be yourself. In a shelter you have to go outside in the morning and do what you are told like, to go to bed at a certain time. Home is different to a shelter in so many ways. A home to me is safe, comfortable, and yourself. Home is with people you love.
