My home is my home team's hockey rink. I see all my friends there and I can play hockey. My family can watch and my siblings can too. I like all hockey rinks but I like my home team's arena the most. I love traveling to tournaments with my mom or dad and when I get to the hockey rink we all get ready. It is my home because I love playing hockey with my friends. When we get dressed, we catch up on what we have been doing. My defense partner is like my favorite brother and all the others are brothers and sure, some of us like other people more than me but they're fun to play hockey with. We all joke around and sometimes it goes a little too far like they put me in a trash can but it was funny. The coaches are like my parents, and they teach me a lot of stuff for hockey. When it comes to game time it's like eating a popsicle, a fun treat. We already know what the other person is going to do. Like off faceoffs I look at him and he just does it. My favorite time is after a hockey game. It's like someone's birthday or we won a million dollars. We listen to loud music and the same playlist. We know all the lyrics because I am one of the last ones out. I am a huge chatterbox. My real house is one hour away from where I feel at home. It isn't too bad of a drive because I am with Gage. He has been playing with me since I was four years old. We carpool so the drive is not so boring. That is where my home is. By Kai.
