What Home Means to Me

You might think a home is just a place to sleep, eat, and stay out of the cold, but I believe it’s much, much more. My home means a lot to me because it has a special place in my heart. Unfortunately, some kids don’t have a home. They're just outside in the cold and that is very sad. My home is a place where I spend time with my loved ones and I’m grateful for the time I have with them. After a long day of school, I look forward to coming home and relaxing on the couch. When I get scared I’ll say to myself “ my house will protect me” and I’ll feel much better after. Most importantly, my home is a place where I can keep warm and be loved by my family. A home is a very nice place where you’ll be protected inside and out. You should be grateful for the home you have and the memories you’ll make in it. Whether you have an apartment, condo, or another type of home, it doesn’t matter if it’s not a house, it is still a home. Your home can be any place where you are in this entire galaxy. My home means the world to me. Every home is a special place for everyone and their homes mean something to them. Homes are where people will be in a safe place and they don’t have to fear anything. They’ll relax with their family in their home, and no one on this planet can disturb them from relaxing in their home because it's theirs.
