The Meaning of Home

Everybody deserves a home, no matter how young or old, No one should ever have to bear the bitter cold. My home is where I feel happy and loved, I’m free to be myself without feeling judged. When my mistakes are as vivid as they are true, There are times when I can't help but feel blue. When happiness is nowhere to be found, My parents are there with an embrace to help me find my ground. My home is where me and my family have stayed, Over time, memories were made. All the moments we’ve shared together under one roof, Are special and can never be gone with a simple poof! Homes are filled with love, memories, and hope, As long as home is in your heart, there’s still a reason to cope. Houses are mere structures, built with sweat and tears, For those fortunate enough to raise a family throughout the years. While houses and homes are perceived as one and the same, Their meanings are unique, with home meaning more to me than words can explain. No matter how big or small, home has it all.
