What Home Means to Me

H- Hope and joy O- Open arms M- Making memories E- Enjoyable These are the words that I feel home means to me. Hope and joy is what I feel with the first step I take into my place I call home. Hope and joy is when I sit down with my family in our safe dome. Open arms is what I see when I come home tired and ready to sleep. Open arms is what I feel when I fall and stumble or take a leap. Making memories is when my dad comes home and my family begins to talk. We might watch a movie or go for a walk. Making the memories that I'll never forget doesn't have to be a big thing, it can be the little things like a family member taking you under their wing. Enjoyable is when I see my family laughing in joy, having fun, or just hanging out. They encourage me if I am ever in doubt. Sometimes I think about everyone who can't feel the same. Some Days we don't know who to blame I hope that will all change I'm thankful for my family and the things I have to feel with glee. When I enter and see everything, I know I'm lucky for all these things. That's what home means to me and thank you By: Mya
