The Meaning of Home

The Meaning of Home My home is safe, my home is silent. My home is really very vibrant. It is where I learned to talk. It is where I learned to walk. My home is much more than a place. It is somewhere I can hide my face. It is where I can dance and sing, where my family and I can do our thing. It is a place where I have food to eat, Where my bed is soft and the air is sweet. I know I am lucky to have a home and others are in the cold all alone. So if you wonder why I wrote this poem it is for the people outside who roam. I feel gratitude for the roof over my head and my warm and super comfy bed. Remind us to make spreading kindness the norm and to give others homes to keep them safe and warm. That is what home means to me. By:Mhairi
