Meaning of Home

What is a home to me, and what is a home? A home is a place where you feel comforted and safe. A home is where you live. But not everyone has a place to call home. Some people are poor and do not have a home. And we all deserve a home not just the rich people. A home is where you are happy and warm. Home is where you feel loved and hold your memories. Home is an important place to keep us safe. And a house and a home might seem like the same thing but are not. A house is a building, and a home is where you come home to feel like your, well home. A home is a place we can have fun. A home is where we eat and sleep. A home is somewhere you should feel loved. Its where you come home to after a rough day. A home should feel like a home and a place you can live in peace, sure you might argue every once in a while. You might feel happy or sad or mad, however all of these feelings add up the home you live in. Each home belongs to a different family. And the home you live in is special in its own way because it belongs to your family and of course you. This means your home belongs to you not your neighbours not your friends but you. Our home is our shelter, and we need shelter. Our home is where we are loved, and love is important. Our home is where we sleep, and we need sleep. That’s what home means to me.
