The Meaning of Home

H- Home is where I am safe and comfortable. My home is where I am welcome to be myself and to do what I like to do. A home is where you should be able to be yourself and not be judged. Like you can sing with your brothers or sisters or mom and dad and have funny movie nights or sleep outs in the living room, I have done that before. Have fun memories with family members and help make those memories for siblings. O- Opening, up to a new house is hard but some day the house that you were nerves to see will become a home. You will make new memories at your new house and those memories will also make that house a home. Other thing you might not like about your new house is that you never been there before like your old home you been going to school and back you have been to stores and back. You know where everything is, and you have been there longer than your new house but in a little bit that house will be a home in no time. M-Memories will make you have more thing that you will remember from your childhood home, like when you helped your mom make dinner or when you helped your dad fix something, even when you helped your little brother or sister take their first steps. I hope those memories stay in your mind and hart because some people have bad memories like everyone does. Memories are everywhere like at the store or like at home even at school but always the best memories are the ones with family or friends. E- Everyone has times where they just want to go home like that one time you were sick or just had a bad day. Having time alone or having help from loved ones is what some of us needs. Out in the world there is people that don’t have good times with family members or have no home. With Habitat for Humanity and with all of us helping and coming together we can make homes for everyone and then people that need it can get those good memories that they should have. Then they can have those times where they have fun with loved ones and friends.
